Kreuzberg Cafe – A pinch of Berlin in California
Had it been named after any other thing, it wouldn’t have very probably grab my attention that much; also, if this Cafe Kreuzberg had been located in any street of this neighborhood in the German capital I guess I wouldn’t have really paid attention either but it was obviously the unexpected combination of these two elements what awoke my curiosity and made me go inside.
Kreuzberg is a neighborhood in Berlin in which you can find, among many other things, amazing shops like Voo and whose multicultural vivacity inspires collections as the one by Reality Studio for last season. However, this Kreuzberg I am talking about today is a beautiful cafe located in San Luis Obispo (685 Higuera St.), a lovely town halfway between L.A. and San Francisco.
I also discovered in their website that, apart from the amazing atmosphere, they also have live music very often, you can check the calendar in their website.

Si se hubiera llamado de cualquier otra manera, muy probablemente, hubiera seguido caminando como si nada; si, por otro lado, este Cafe Kreuzberg hubiera estado ubicado en cualquier calle de dicho barrio de la capital alemana supongo que tampoco le hubiera prestado especial atención, pero obviamente fue la inesperada combinación de estos dos factores lo que me hizo entrar a investigar.
Kreuzberg es un barrio de Berlín en el que por ejemplo se pueden encontrar tiendas tan geniales como Voo y cuya efervescencia multicultural inspira colecciones como la de Reality Studio para este verano pasado. Sin embargo, este Kreuzberg que hoy os enseño aquí es un precioso café en el centro de San Luis Obispo (685 Higuera St.), un bonito pueblo a medio camino entre Los Ángeles y San Francisco.
Por lo que he podido ver en su web parece que, además de la fantástica atmósfera, ofrecen música en vivo a menudo, podéis consultar la programación en su página web.
Los pueblos de EEUU siempre me han dado mucho miedo, tendré que ir cambiando de opinión…
Nada de miedo, Cal! Éste pueblo donde está el café, San Luis Obispo, es súper bonito, pequeñito, con tiendas bonitas… un gran descubrimiento.
