COEUR Accessories L.A. – Spring 2013
Last week it took place in downtown L.A. a new edition of this accessories tradeshow called COEUR that gathers -mainly, although not only- jelwery and handbag brands and designers.
There is something that makes out of COEUR a specially nice and pleasant venue maybe because, after crossing the whole city by car -traffic jams in seven-lane (!) highways might be the closer you can get to hell, in rush hour-, when you get to the top floor of Cooper Design Space where the tradeshow is located, all freshness, whiteness and calm, you have the feeling you finally got, at least, to heaven.
But then, there’s also the proximity with the designers and the fact that you can actually stop and talk with them about their work -or about any other thing- in a very relaxed and informal way, there is also Henri Myer’s friendliness, co-founder of the show and perfect host, and the impeccable selection of cool things you can find while wandering around there.

La semana pasada se celebró en el centro de Los Ángeles una nueva edición de la feria de complementos COEUR que reúne -principal, aunque no únicamente- marcas y diseñadores de joyería y bolsos.
Hay algo que hace de COEUR un entorno especialmente agradable y es que debe ser que, tras sortear el tráfico de esta ciudad al volante -un atasco en autopistas de siete (!) carriles debe ser lo más aparecido al mismísimo infierno, en hora punta- cuando se llega a la planta elevada del Cooper Design Space que alberga la feria, toda frescura, blancura y sosiego, uno cree haber llegado, como poco, al cielo.
Pero es que luego, además, está también la cercanía con los diseñadores, poder hablar de su trabajo -o de lo que se tercie- de forma relajada e informal, la simpatía de Henri Myers, co-creador de la feria y perfecto anfitrión, y la impecable selección de cosas interesantes que uno se encuentra paseando por allí.
