BOO Shop – Barcelona
I know BOO since two years ago when my friend Eider Corral installed, as part of one of their collections, her ceramic soldiers New Salvation Army. An achievement that, for me, ended up being a real new discovery, and which has since then become a temple to my most subtle extravagances.
The store, which used to be located at the center of the bohemian district of Gràcia in Barcelona, has moved now coming to stand shoulder to shoulder with the most elegant work of Gaudí that is La Pedrera. And in the same way as it happens with the architect, their projects make a lasting impression on their viewers, with their incredible lines, creating a sensation as though you are in a forest suitable for the most elegant of figures in the world of fashion.
Small deers and hosts with a Wes-Anderson-like touch, instantly indicate that the clothes you are going to find there are not only meant not to pass unnoticed, but that without too much searching you can be part of the new trends that Alex is willing to include into your day to day life.
As a personal recommendation: check out the music in the shop. It’s not only about the clothes or the decoration, the accessories or the charm displayed in every little detail of the store, it is also a reference point for new musical trends. A store in which every day is Friday afternoon.

Conozco BOO desde hace unos dos años, cuando mi amiga Eider Corral instaló, como parte de su colección, los soldaditos de cerámica New Salvation Army. Una hazaña que, para mí, resultó todo un descubrimiento y que se ha convertido en el templo de mis extravagancias más sutiles.
La tienda, que estaba en el centro del bohemio barrio de Gràcia en Barcelona, se ha trasladado y ha pasado a estar codo con codo con el lado más elegante de Gaudí que es La Pedrera. Y al igual que ocurre con el arquitecto, las propuestas no dejan indiferente a quien las ve, por sus grandes trazos que le hacen sentir a uno como en un bosque adecuado para las figuras más elegantes de la moda actual.
Pequeños ciervos y anfitriones con un toque Wes Anderson que ya indican que la ropa que encuentras allí no sólo no pasa desapercibida sino que, sin buscarlo demasiado, serás parte de las nuevas tendencias que Alex está dispuesto a poner en tu día a día.
Consejo personal: prestadle atención al hilo musical. No sólo es la ropa o la decoración, los accesorios o el encanto que tiene cada pequeño detalle la tienda, es también un referente de nuevas tendencias musicales. Una tienda en la que cada día es viernes por la tarde.
