‘Stromboli’ & ‘Les désirs sont déjà des souvenirs’ by Claude Nori
I really can’t help feeling touched, somehow, by anyone who manages to bring me a piece of home to this side of the world, so since I discovered the work by French photographer Claude Nori I couldn’t help feeling some kind of gratitude for that Mediterranean breath he would bring me, to this side of the Pacific, with each and every single one of his pictures.
Stromboli -a collection of vintage images that gave shape to his book with the same name- and Les désirs sont déjà des souvenirs -a retrospective of his career- are the two parts of the exhibition that can be visited at Valid Foto Bcn Gallery, in Barcelona, through next September, 10th.

No puedo evitar sentirme de algún modo conmovida cuando alguien logra traerme un pedazo de lo que siempre ha sido mi casa a este lado del mundo, quizás por eso, al descubrir el trabajo del fotógrafo francés Claude Nori no pude evitar el sentimiento de gratitud por ese soplo Mediterráneo que consigue hacerme llegar, a este lado del Pacífico, con cada una de sus imágenes.
Stromboli -una colección de fotografías vintage que dieron lugar al libro homónimo- y Les désirs sont déjà des souvenirs -una retrospectiva de su carrera- son las dos partes de la exposición que se puede visitar en Valid Foto Bcn Gallery, en Barcelona, hasta el próximo 10 de Septiembre.
