Three Boys from Pasadena – A Tribute to Helmut Newton
Kaune Sudendorf, the gallery for contemporary photography in Cologne, Germany, presents tomorrow Friday the exhibition Three Boys from Pasadena, a collective show with the works by photographers Mark Arbeit, George Holz y Just Loomis which, after its debut in the Helmut Newton Foundation in Berlin was also presented in New York and Paris.
Besides sharing a profession, the three met while studying at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and during the early 80s’ they all had the chance of assisting Helmut Newton, an experience that later proved to have marked their works and careers since then.

You three compliment one another and you all had a unique relationship with Helmut and you’ve become his offspring – you have your own voices. Kaune Sudendorf, la galería de fotografía contemporánea de Colonia, en Alemania, presenta mañana viernes la exposición Three Boys from Pasadena, una muestra colectiva del trabajo de los fotógrafos Mark Arbeit, George Holz y Just Loomis que, tras haber debutado en la Fundación Helmut Newton de Berlín, también se pudo ver en Nueva York y en París.
Además de compartir profesión, los tres se conocieron mientras estudiaban en el Art Center College of Design en Pasadena y durante los inicios de los años 80 tuvieron la oportunidad de trabajar con Helmut Newton, experiencia que marcó la obra y trayectoria profesional de los tres desde entonces.

Los tres os complementábais a vosotros mismos y teníais una relación única con Helmut, os habíais convertido en sus hijos – tenéis vuestras propias voces.
