Stand Up Against Heart Crime – A Hundred Lovers
Catalan guerilla guys, these guys make up a band that came into my soul at the end of the autumn, and have become a reference point when talking about the homegrown music scene. With their angelic faces, eyes that could leave you breathless and echoes that could cause you to hallucinate, I think that their quality exceeds the limits of the creations of the local indie scene, and could more likely have been created by a London group jumping borders. It is because of this gift they have in their creativity, that we welcome them to IT Hunter.
There are times when one song can say almost everything about a group, and that “almost”, is what the guys from Stand Up Against Heart Crime achieve. Each song is so personal that it sucks you inside it completely.
Their song A Hundred Lovers is a clear example of this sense of identity, the production is excellent and for that reason, and because it reminded me of how magic the story behind a video can be, I am sharing it with you all today.
I let you in on a secret too, they live in Barcelona and one of them throws some incredible parties every Wednesday in a famous bar in the city, and I don’t mind telling you, they are the best parties for having fun at if you come to the city. I’m not saying any more.

Chicos catalanes de guerrilla, todo un grupo que nos ha llegado al alma a finales del otoño y que se han convertido en un referente a la hora de hablar de música creada en casa. Con sus caras angelicales, ojos que te dejan muerto y ecos que te hacen alucinar, podemos pensar que su calidad excede los límites de las creaciones indie locales, y que bien podrían haber sido un grupo de Londres saltando las fronteras. Hay veces en que un tema lo puede decir casi todo de un grupo y ese “casi” es el que los chicos de Stand Up Against Heart Crime logran. Cada canción es tan personal que te lleva completamente dentro de ella.
Su canción A Hundred Lovers es un claro ejemplo de esa sensación de identidad, tiene una producción excelente y por esa razón, y porque nos ha hecho recordar lo mágica que puede llegar a ser la historia que nos enseña un vídeo, es el tema que comparto hoy con todos vosotros.
Como secreto os cuento, viven en Barcelona y uno de ellos hace unas fiestas increíbles los miércoles en un bar famoso de la ciudad y, si queréis que os lo diga, son de las mejores fiestas que podéis disfrutar si venís por la ciudad condal. No digo más.
