Soft Caramel by Ellery
Dutch model Kim Noorda is the new face of the Resort’11 collection by Australian label Ellery. After studying Fashion Design in Perth, taking some courses in Central Saint Martins and being part of the editorial team of the amazing magazine Russh for the last four years, Kym Ellery has managed to make out of her own fashion label a real referent of this new coolness that seems to arrive to the North Hemisphere in huge amounts from Antipodes, lately.
In cream shades, nude and caramel, fluid lines and soft silhouettes meet Oriental-inspired cuts and details; accents come in pink, black and lime while transparencies, leather and satin coexist with a printed bow-motif, neat shapes and floor-lenght skirts.

La modelo holandesa Kim Noorda es el nuevo rostro de la colección Resort’11 de la marca australiana Ellery. Tras estudiar Diseño de Moda en Perth, completar su formación con algunos cursos en Central Saint Martins en Londres y formar parte del equipo editorial de la genial revista Russh durante los últimos cuatro años, Kym Ellery ha logrado hacer de su firma un referente de ese nuevo cool que parece llegarnos al hemisferio norte en cantidades industriales desde las Antípodas.
En tonos crema, maquillaje y caramelo, las líneas fluidas y las siluetas relajadas se funden con cortes y toques orientales; los contrastes aparecen en rosa, negro y lima mientras que las transparencias, el cuero y el satén conviven con un motivo estampado de lazos, chaquetas de formas limpias y faldas hasta el suelo.

Instead of constantly reinventing, I like how Ellery is focused on tweaking their signature shapes each season. Distinctive but subtle.
