‘The Process is the Product’ by Montse Liarte
Only a designer -and all the ones around him/her, actively contributing to carry out the project- knows the real work behind a show that, after months of everlasting days and sleepless nights, goes away lasting no more than a few minutes.
Designer Montse Liarte, who has already shown her creations several times in 080 Barcelona Fashion, wanted to capture somehow all this hard work and has created a series of books under the name of The Process is the Product, compiling images from the whole creative process and the creation of the collection, from the early inspiration to the first moments after the show.
Tomorrow she will be presenting in her atelier in Barcelona the first of these books The Process is the Product – Nº 1 Focal Point, with pictures by Agus Prats, focused on her Spring Summer 11 collection.

Solo un diseñador -y todos aquellos que le rodean, contribuyendo activamente a hacer posible su proyecto- conocen el verdadero trabajo que se esconde detrás de un desfile que, tras meses de días eternos y noches sin dormir, pasa como un suspiro durando poco más de unos minutos.
La diseñadora Montse Liarte, que ha desfilado ya en varias ocasiones en el 080 Barcelona Fashion, ha querido dejar patente ese trabajo en una serie de libros que lleva por nombre The Process is the Product y que recoge en imágenes todo el proceso creativo y de creación de una colección, desde la inspiración inicial a los momentos posteriores al desfile.
Mañana se presenta en su taller en Barcelona el primero de estos libros The Process is the Product – Nº 1 Focal Point, con imágenes de Agus Prats, que gira en torno a su colección Primavera Verano 11.
