Dane Beesley is a photographer from Brisbane that, for the last ten years, has been taking photographs of the most outstanding bands in the international music scene, from The Kills to Yeah Yeah Yeahs, including also names like Cat Power or Mogwai. Now he has selected some of these images, compiled during the last decade, and gathered them in an spontaneous-diary-looking book which, under the name of Splitting Seconds: A Photographer’s Journal, sums up a decade of Australian rock.
