+ Taxi Driver +
If I made a list with all my still-to-watch films (among many other things), I am sure it would be totally embarassing. I am obviously talking about all these must-see films that for some different reasons I have not seen yet. In a humble attempt to start amending my faults, I devoted my weekend to Taxi Driver and with all this kind of 70’s fever in the shows for next summer I guess I couldn’t have made a better choice. I’ll be dressing like Foster next season, I have just decided.

Si hiciera una lista de las películas (entre otras cosas) que tengo pendientes, sería digna de vergüenza ajena, y propia. Obviamente me refiero a todos esos títulos de visionado obligatorio que, por una razón u otra, yo nunca he llegado a ver. En un discreto intento de comenzar a expiar mis culpas, este fin de semana se lo dediqué a Taxi Driver; con todo el furor 70’s en las propuestas para el próximo verano que se está viendo ahora mismo , creo que no podría haber elegido mejor. Yo el verano que viene, me visto como la Foster: he dicho.

It’s strange to watch something iconic after the fact, huh? Last year my husband and I sat down and watched The Godfather for the first time. Yeah, I know.
Definitely worth-seeing Trista! But I agree with what you say, watching something everybody has already been talking about like “iconic” can be disappointing sometimes… maybe that’s why I haven’t seen The Godfather either
