Rara vez hago fotos a gente por la calle, no porque no vea cosas interesantes sino porque -igual de este blog no se puede deducir bien- me muero de la vergüenza si tengo que asaltar a alguien y pedirle que pose. De todas formas, hay días en que uno, sin saber muy bien porqué, se atreve a según que cosas, y en días como éstos yo me decido a hacer fotos. Con ellos casi no empecé a hablar que Guillem exclamó: ¡Oye! ¡Yo te conozco!
Y sí, la historia con Guillem es, como poco, curiosa… Y es que parece que nos vamos encontrando sistemáticamente por Barcelona de pura casualidad: nos conocimos en la Opening Party del último Bread&Butter en Julio, charlamos y nos explicamos nuestra vida a grandes rasgos, lo normal para una fiesta. Dos días después nos volvimos a encontrar en una estación de tren y proseguimos con la charla hasta que llegó el tren. Lógicamente, para cuando se me ocurre pararlo, hace dos semanas, en Paseo de Gracia acompañado de su amiga Claudia, ya nos habíamos convertido en casi “íntimos desconocidos”.
El caso – que me parece que estoy empezando a divagar - es que lo paré porque me hizo gracia pensar en una vuelta de la camisa tejana de mis tiernos años teen: lavada, con un poco de used incluso y botones de presión nacarados.
Parece que los de Topshop también han debido pensar algo parecido para este verano. Yeah, baby, it’s back!

Normally, I don’t take pictures of the people I find in the street, is not that I don’t see cool things, it’s only that -maybe you can’t deduce it easily from this blog- but I’m too shy to stop anybody and ask them to pose for me. Anyway, there are some days in which one feels like doing different things and, in days like these, I take pictures to the people. With them I couldn’t almost start talking that Guillem exclaimed: Wait! I know you!
And yes, Guillem’s story is like a bit curious… It seems we keep on meeting each other systematically around Barcelona just by chance: we first met in the last Bread & Butter Opening Party, last July, we talk, explain our own life to each other and all that normal stuff you do in a party. Two days later, we met again at a tren station and we followed our chatting till the train arrived. It seemed natural that, at the time I stopped him, two weeks ago, in Paseo de Gracia, with his friend Claudia, we had almost become “close strangers”.
The thing is – I think I’m starting to digress – I asked him to pose because I found quite appealing the idea of a denim shirt -lovely reminder of me teen years- comeback: washed, with some used effect and pearl snap-buttons.
It seems they thought the same in TopShop for this Spring Summer 09. Yeah, baby, it’s back!
